Oh will there never be another spring again?

I have sort of mixed feelings about this... merged the layers too early so I ended up doing a lot of tedious work that could've been avoided.

Given 2004-05-01

Longing - not lust or hunger or desire, but longing - is remarkably difficult to capture in an image. That’s what makes The leaves have fallen by ~qventti such a special piece. I think it was worth the time you spent doing it. Maybe that merging was destinated =)
It's a really wonderful piece, great job on the trees, they're really detailed, and so are the leaves. Fabulous! :+fav: =)

Heh. I started out drawing them all one by one but then I realized that I'll never get it finished like that.. so I drew a few and then copypasted them all over the place. After that I painted on top of them and shaded them a bit differently so it doesn't look like a repeated texture.

That's so pretty. *_* I love how the colors of the leaves lose saturation as they go back in the picture. This is so gonna be my desktop background.
